Red Stick Was stumped when we first saw this Red coloured Phasmid, the females are mostly either brown or green and only the Male is red.<br />

      It has to be the genus name followed by the species name ;)

        1. Actually, that is the trend now, at least in the Phasmid scientific community, to have a genus named after a person, and I would love to have that, but definitely not Alberti as a genus name, its too common, probably 100 millions people with the name of Albert! lol

          As an example of genus names after a person, here are a few :
          - Hennemannia, 2016 (from the name Hennemann)
          - Channia, 2016 (from the name Chan)
          - Conlephasma, 2012 (from the name Conle)

          It will be an ultimate honour to have a genus named after me :D
