  1. April snow...crazy. Over here we've had several weeks of slightly warmer weather but this weekend some places in the country had a wee bit of snow. Posted 3 months ago
    1. This happened during the blizzard that hit much of the central US. Only 2 or 3 inches of snow where I live but powerful winds. Before the storm hit almost all the open areas were clear of snow. It should be gone before the week is out as the weather is going to get warm again. Posted 3 months ago
  2. Wow, spring in Minnesota! Posted 3 months ago
    1. Its crazy weather. The bluebirds arrived Tuesday and then the snow came. Posted 3 months ago
      1. Aww, I hope they do okay! Posted 3 months ago
        1. I'm pretty sure they will. The weather got very warm today and looks like it will keep getting warmer all week (hooray!). Saw some mourning doves on my way home this afternoon. Posted 3 months ago
          1. Yay! I hope your weather is beautiful this week! You northerners definitely deserve it! Posted 3 months ago
            1. Predicted high of 50 degrees today so things are looking better. Noticed that some tag alder catkins are about ready to open. Looks like rain is heading to New England but better than snow at this time of the year. Posted 3 months ago
              1. I've heard that alder catkins are edible, but I've never eaten them. We had a ton of rain overnight and thunder as well. More rain is expected throughout the week, but the temps are perfect and the wildflowers are popping! Glad your weather is looking up as well. Posted 3 months ago
                1. They might be but they probably don't all that good. I'm heading out to photo some if they are open (first spring flowers maybe?). Light rain here tonight and off and on over the next few days. That should melt the snow and wake up the wood frogs. Posted 3 months ago
